David Suzuki
David Suzuki is a Japanese-Canadian environmental activist and genetics professor in British Columbia. Born in 1936 his family suffered internment, having to work in camps, during World War II. Being an environmental activist, he was a spokesperson against global warming. Blaming oil and coal companies along with politicians for saying that it does not exist or that humans have no part in it. He believes that humans are the biggest culprit in global warming. Before lecturing others he focused on himself, he stopped vacationing internationally, and traveling. He instead clustered his events and had video conferences. That alone cut down his carbon footprint. His main concern, that should be our concern is how are we leaving the environment for future generations and are we ensuring our own destruction.
